Domestic Remedial Services, Timber Treatment, Damp Proofing

Most building societies and mortgage lenders insist on a Property Care Association registered member to carry out specialist timber and damp surveys of properties and we offer a comprehensive and detailed survey for homebuyers. Due to the complexity and depth of these investigation reports a charge is made.

We also provide free quotations for homeowners who are having damp, timber infestation or rot problems to specific areas of their properties.

We also have a fully trained workforce which can carry out any treatments required including any re-plastering.

Damp Proofing Services
Our Surveyor inspects properties with the aid of a protimeter (electronic damp meter) and also carries out a visual inspection both inside and outside of the property to identify any visible signs that are causing internal damp problems.

We also can offer independent laboratory testing of plaster samples (at a small charge) to ascertain the type and presence of ground salts in properties to enable us to specify the appropriate remedial solution to damp problems.

Timber Treatment Services
If a sub floor inspection is requested, our Surveyor will, if possible, gain access to the sub floor area and carry out a detailed investigation of joists and floorboards to determine if any wet rot, dry or beetle infestation has taken place.

If a roof space inspection is required, our Surveyor will, if possible, gain access to the roof void and carry out a detailed investigation of the roof timbers to determine if any wet rot, dry rot or beetle infestation has taken place.

We aim to make sure that all our methods of work, products we use and health and safety requirements are all to current standards and all our workforce are trained by outside training bodies at regular intervals to achieve this.

Our Company prides itself on the personal attention and after sales service we provide to our customers including guarantees for our work.

We have been established since 1995 and are linked to organisations such as the Property Care Association and the Government’s Trust Mark Scheme, these have vetting procedures in place which we have to adhere to in order that we remain members, this includes providing appropriate insurances and safeguards for our workforce and our customers.
